Perspective Strategies Wins Two Trophies at Global Best Practice Awards

Malaysian public relations consultancy, Perspective Strategies, took home two trophies at the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) Global Best Practice Awards recently, winning the 1st and 2nd place in the Blogger/Vlogger Outreach and Consumer Communications - Products categories respectively.

Puerto Varas, Chile (November 21, 2019) – Malaysian public relations consultancy, Perspective Strategies, took home two trophies at the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) Global Best Practice Awards recently, winning the 1st and 2nd place in the Blogger/Vlogger Outreach and Consumer Communications – Products categories respectively.

Winning first place in the Blogger/Vlogger Outreach category, the firm’s campaign for Nippon Paint Malaysia was anchored on partnerships with digital influencers to reach out to a new segment of consumers. By generating conversations on non-traditional platforms, the campaign aimed to shift the mindset that home makeovers are only meant to be carried out by professionals. This culminated in the “Sayangi Malaysiaku” Workshop and “Riang Ria Warna Raya” Workshop which were intended to equip consumers with the skills and knowledge for DIY makeovers, in time for the Malaysian festive seasons.

The firm’s partnership with Central Sugars Refinery to launch their flagship ‘Better Brown Low G Sugar’ product took home second place in the Consumer Communications – Products category. The campaign focused on stakeholder engagements and partnerships, notably with the National Diabetes Institute, Malaysia to educate consumers on the need to consume sugar responsibly. This involved a series of on-ground events as well as communications across multiple platforms to promote healthy lifestyles and Better Brown Low G Sugar as a healthier sugar option.

“We are greatly honoured to have won an international award for the second year running. This is truly a testament to the team’s expertise in meeting world-class standards. Moreover, our win in the Blogger and Consumer Communications categories reflects our commitment to do more digital and consumer work and move beyond traditional areas of focus,” said Andy See, Principal Partner and Managing Director of Perspective Strategies.

The Award is held annually as part of the global PR network’s effort to recognize and celebrate the best of its partner agencies’ work throughout the world. This year, the awards took place in Chile, South America during the network’s global meeting.

PRGN is one of the largest network of independent agencies in the world, present in over 50 market centres in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, South America and North America.

The next PRGN Best Practice Awareds will be in Singapore, in October 2020.
